Claiming in writing

If you claim your healthcare expenses in writing, your claim will usually be processed within 2 weeks.

Claiming in writing in two steps: 

Step 1: write your policy number on the original bill.  Write your policy number clearly at the top on the right on the original bill. You can find your policy number on your insurance card or in "My menzis" or on your policy sheet. 

Step 2: send your bill to Menzis.  Place your bill in an envelop, put a stamp on the envelop and send it to:

Claiming form abroad

Claiming for healthcare expenses abroad 

Bills for healthcare expenses abroad cannot yet be claimed online. Always claim for these bills in writing. Send the original bills with a claim form for medical expenses abroad to (the form is in Dutch):

Tip: also send a foreign bill in English to ensure you do not incur translation costs.
