A session with a mental coach can help you when things aren’t going well at work or in your personal life. Are you feeling a lot of stress due to your studies or personal circumstances? The coach will give you advice on how to better cope with or reduce your stress. The session is anonymous.

When am I eligible for a session with a mental coach?

You can schedule a free session with a mental coach through MyDailyLifestyle if you have group insurance through your employer with Menzis. This also applies to your family members who are covered under your policy.

A budget coach will help you get your finances in order and create a realistic budget. They will also provide you with tips and advice tailored to your specific situation. The consultation is anonymous.

A certified coach will provide feedback on your sleep patterns, and you’ll receive personalized advice with the top three areas for improvement to help you sleep better. There’s also a 30-minute online consultation to discuss the advice.

In just one minute, you can measure how healthy and fit you are in a fun and reliable way. 

You’ll use your cell phone’s regular camera. The camera captures subtle changes in the light reflected by your face. This data is analyzed to detect variations in blood flow beneath the skin. 

Immediately after the scan, you’ll get insights into personal metrics such as mental stress, respiratory rate, heart rate variability, and blood pressure. You’ll see at a glance how your health is doing. You’ll get a snapshot of your health and insight into your personal trends. If you take a measurement regularly, you can track changes in your mental and physical well-being. For example, you can see if your stress level is decreasing, your breathing rate is improving, and your heart rate variability is remaining stable. 

When am I eligible for the Healthy Selfie?

You can request the Healthy Selfie through MyDailyLifestyle if you have group insurance through your employer with Menzis. This also applies to your family members who are covered under your policy.

You can schedule a consultation with a dietitian yourself through MyDailyLifestyle. The consultation lasts 35 minutes. You’ll receive a questionnaire in advance to help you prepare for the consultation.

Are you experiencing symptoms related to menopause? Schedule a consultation with one of MyDailyLifestyle’s registered menopause consultants! Use the handy MyDailyLifestyle app to describe your symptoms. This is followed by a consultation with the coach. The coach will provide personalized advice and practical tips that you can easily put into practice on your own. The online consultation lasts 35 minutes.

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional reimbursement applies if you have supplemental insurance. Has your employer made arrangements regarding additional reimbursements for physical therapy treatments? If so, you’ll find this information in your policy in MyMenzis.

What is the reimbursement amount?

You’ll be reimbursed for 3 additional treatments, or 6 in the case of Fysio 2. The terms and conditions of your supplemental insurance also apply to these treatments.

Are you feeling out of sorts, but not sure exactly what’s going on? If so, it’s advisable to take these symptoms seriously and take action as soon as possible.

HSK has developed a program specifically for Menzis policyholders to help with symptoms of impending stress and burnout.

The Mental Check-In consists of a consultation with a psychologist. It’s designed to help you gain insight into your mental health. The psychologist will provide you with immediate, practical tips to boost your mental resilience. If the psychologist feels you need follow-up care, the options will be discussed with you.

This consultation is, of course, anonymous. 

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional coverage applies to supplemental insurance. Has your employer made arrangements for coverage of the Mental Check-In at HSK? If so, you’ll see it listed on your policy in MyMenzis.

What is the reimbursement amount?

The Mental Check-In is fully reimbursed by Menzis without affecting your deductible.

How do I request the Mental Check-In?

You can find the information on the HSK website (in Dutch). You make the appointment yourself. 

Submitting a claim

You will receive the invoice yourself and can submit a claim via the Menzis app.

Mindfulness means living fully in the moment, without judgment. In our busy lives, we often do things on autopilot, without really thinking about them. With mindfulness, you learn to be more aware and present in the here and now. This helps you cope better with stress and anxiety.

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional reimbursement applies if you have supplemental insurance. Has your employer made arrangements for reimbursement of a mindfulness course? You can find this information on your policy in My Menzis, under the heading “Lifestyle.”

What is the reimbursement amount?

You’ll receive reimbursement of 80% up to €350 per calendar year from a provider with whom Menzis has an agreement. 

Where can I find a Menzis-approved mindfulness training program or trainer?

Go to the Zorgvinder (in Dutch) and search for a Menzis-approved mindfulness training program or trainer. You’ll make the appointment yourself.

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional reimbursement applies if you have supplemental insurance. Are you eligible for this additional reimbursement for lifestyle counseling? You can check this on your policy in MyMenzis.

What is the reimbursement amount?

The reimbursement for a lifestyle counseling session with a Menzis-approved Lifestyle Counselor is €50 per calendar year.

Where can I find a certified lifestyle counselor?

Go to the Menzis Zorgvinder (in Dutch) to find a certified lifestyle counselor.

Submitting a claim

When you submit a claim for a session with a Menzis-approved Lifestyle Counselor, we’ll see that you’re eligible for an increased reimbursement. You don’t need to do anything else.

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional reimbursement applies if you have supplemental insurance. Has your employer arranged for an additional discount on eyeglasses and contact lenses? If so, you’ll find this information in your policy in MyMenzis.

What is the reimbursement amount?

If you receive reimbursement from your supplemental insurance for glasses or contact lenses, you’ll receive an additional €50. The reimbursement will never exceed the actual costs incurred.

Submitting a claim

When you submit a claim, we’ll determine that you’re eligible for an increased reimbursement. You don’t need to do anything to receive it.

When am I eligible for this reimbursement?

This additional reimbursement applies if you have supplemental insurance. If your employer has made arrangements for reimbursement of alternative care, you’ll see this listed on your policy in MyMenzis.

What is the reimbursement amount?

If you receive reimbursement from your supplemental insurance for alternative medicines and therapies, “Extra Gezond” will provide you with an additional €100 in reimbursement. The reimbursement will never exceed the actual costs incurred. The terms and conditions of your supplemental insurance also apply to this additional reimbursement.

When you submit a claim, we’ll determine that you’re eligible for an increased reimbursement. You don’t need to do anything else.

Mental coaching helps you better cope with everyday challenges. This includes setting boundaries, managing stress, or improving your relationships. You’ll learn to make choices that align with who you are and how to be kinder to yourself. 

Coaching can also be a great support for dealing with low mood, fear of failure, mild ADHD, or breaking bad habits. This way, you work step by step toward greater balance, self-confidence, and peace of mind in your life.
